Get latest components programatically

Hello All,

Is it possible to get the latest components in a page programatically using cssdk or is there a CLT to do this. I am trying to automate this process as we have lot of page files which often need updates to its components. Haven't been able to find an API that can replicate UI functionality(SitePublisher -> Get Latest Components). I am using TeamSite 7.4.1 on Linux 6.2. Any help is appreciated.

It is, though it's unsupported.

Look at the following classes:

com.interwoven.livesite.business.update.UpdateTask

Because this is unsupported, I'd say review your use case first to see if there's a better way to accomplish your goals. In many cases, you can mitigate how often your component actually needs an update so it's not as painful to manage. There are also easier ways to hijack the 'get latest' feature without hacking through code, as I've previously answered elsewhere on these forums.
