Getting problem with SSl deployments

Hi All,

I'm trying to deploy content to 1 target using SSL deployments but the content is not actually deployed to that target but I'm getting Completed with an error as status even though it is not deployed to the target.

Can any one help me on this..

Completed with error indicates a non-transactional deployment in which one or more files failed to get deployed -- essentially the exact scenario you are describing.

In order to understand what's going wrong, you need to examine the log files, probably on both sender and receiver sides. Chances are you are either not specifying the SSL keys one one or the other side, or you have the wrong SSL keys specified somewhere - but that's just a guess without seeing any of the logs.

I checked the logs on both target and receiver side not even 1 file got deployed..

My concern is even though 1 file is not deployed I should get status message as failed but not Completed with error..

If you make the deployment transactional - it will never give you completed with error, only success or failure.

If you leave it as non-transactional and put a typo in the deployment configuration file - you should get a failure instead of completed with error.

If you leave it as non-transactional and the deployment runs completely to the end of the process but fails to deploy one or more files - you get completed with error.

That's it.

If you are looking for help to understand why it's failing to deploy one or more files, you'll have to post some log files.
