Hide branch/workarea for which logged in user doesnot have atleast read access

Environment : TS 7.3.2 on windows 2008

 

I am looking to set the attributes to make workareas and branches hidden to those not having atleast read access.

 

branch_security=on
workarea_security=on

 

However seems to be this option is working (even after iwreset -a).

 

Is it working for anybody (perticularely on windows environment).

 

Do I have to do anything extra after turning these attributes on.

Did you verify that the users who you expect not to see those branches / workareas do not, in fact, occupy roles on the branches and/or are not Master users?

 

I.e.: We have absolutly no idea how you tried to verify things - so that fact that it doesn't seem to be working for you doesn't really mean anything without a significant amount of context to back it up.
