Hey, i have already went for training on 7.1 version last 3 years back..after that i have not done any practice on that..so i forgot entire thing..so now i need to recall this..i need some basic steps to create the workflow templates..

The answer rpoulin provided is accurate (at least steps 1 through 3)
Also - make sure if you are trying to create workflow templates (WFT) or workflow models (WFM) - there are two different manuals because there are two different procedures (actually more than two when it comes to WFT)

Basic Steps as you forgot the training.
1. write wft (reference from existing samples,workflow dtd and documents)
2. execute
3. debug if error found and fix it

Follow the step 3 until it get executed properly
