Preview Not coming

Hi ,

I an very new to Livesite i am facing issue creating a basic component , when i create a simple componet saying "hello" i am geting a preview which keeps on saying loading .... screen shot for your referance.

I was unable to put the screen shot but in the shot you can see that it is loading but doent show the simple text "hello"

Please can any one advice ...

Could mean your server and/or LiveSite site wasn't set up correctly, especially given that your component definition can't get any simpler. I suggest using Firebug to look for JavaScript exceptions and/or POST requests that came back with errors. You'll almost certainly have one of the two. Report the error details here if you need help figuring it out.

This implies that you're previewing the component using a site that's missing/invalid/broken. Try editing your component, and setting a working site in the "preview settings" box. The "component guide" is usually a good choice when you're first starting out.

If that still doesn't work, try previewing OOTB components. If those break too, it could be that something got fudged in your pagetype-config.xml.
