How to skip the file if there is no change

Hi All,

OpenDeploy 7.3.1

Using OpenDeploy filelist deployment, how to specify that not to deploy a file if the file is already there on the target without any change? I have tried with comparisonRules datedifferent, checksumCompare and its not working. I tried with sourcefilesystem, filelist. Any help is much appreciated. Here is the OD config file.

You cannot do that.
The definition of a filelist deployment is that every file in the filelist (unless explicitly filtered out by path or regex) gets deployed without any comparison being performed against the target side (or against another copy of the file on the source side)

You can use source-target comparison deployments - based on the differences of all [non-filtered-out] files in the source area path against the target area path.

You can use TeamSite comparison deployments - based on the differences of all [non-filtered-out] files in the source area path and previous source area path (usually an edition).

Or you can use file list deployments - that deploy all [non-filtered-out] files in the file list - with no comparison performed.

Can the File List Differential Adapter (payload adapter) do a differential deployment? I was looking at the documentation and it seems to indicate that it can be used for differential deployments. But, I'm not entirely sure about what the payload adapters can and cannot do. Can anyone provide further insight on the File List Differential Adapter?

Thanks to Fish, Taalgaard & Nipper. I was able to use the IWFilelistCompare payload adapter to compare the files before the deployment.
