Can Not open Log file Error

Hi,

I am getting the below error during Data Deployment

Can Not Open Log file /var/iwov/database.log

This error is occuring only when we attach large number of files for deploying to database. This is not happenng when we attach less number files.


I thought may be few stream handlers may not closed in java.

I found few stream handlers not closed in customized Tupleprocessor.java.

I closed them in the java file TupleProcessor.java, Compiled and recreated jar file TupleProcessor.jar under /app/iw-home/opendeploy/OpenDeployNG/userlib


It's not reading the new jar, It's reading old jar only Even i stopped and started the teamsite server and also i restarted od server.

I completely removed TupleProcessor.jar from the place and done deployment. Then also it working fine.

Can any one help me from where it is reading jar file Even it is not present in the place. I searched for the jar file using find command, Its existed only under one place /app/iw-home/opendeploy/OpenDeployNG/userlib

This is the right place for custom JARs. Your deployment should have failed when you removed the jar completely, so this implies that your restart of the OD service was unsuccessful in some way. Perhaps your service wrapper lost sight of the pid or something, and you actually have an OD instance still running.

Also, make sure you created your class in a logical namespace for your org. If you put it in com.interwoven.* by copying an example from the docs, an OOTB example of the same name may be taking precedence over yours in the classloader.
