Inactive tinyMCE

I have created a DCT. there is no FormAPI in this DCT.

In the textarea of a item, I have TinyMCE as an EE.

When I do "New Form Entry" datacapture form pops up. I go to TinyMCE and try to type something in it, but I can not type anything in it. How can TintMCE become inactive ?

Is this default behavior OR can we make it inactive ? If so, how ?

How can I type in this TinyMCE ?

We never heard back from your colleague in the original post.

Perhaps you could reply to the original post specifying what mode IE 8 is running in and if you are seeing any JS errors in your browser console.

Actually better yet, try doing those things and let us know if you find anything in the console or if changing the mode makes a difference.

I am using IE in Standards mode.

There is no JavaScript in DCT at all

Dave asked if there were and JS errors thrown by the page, not whether you used JS inthe DCT

No javascript errors thrown. When I click on TinyMCE, it does nothing. When I click on "Insert Code" button, I can get screen to insert code. But code does not get inserted properly.
