freeze event

TS 5.0.1 W2K, SP2
We believe an "iwfreeze +n" -- that we execute in preparation for a backup of the backing store -- is triggering our startup trigger, which we had coded for system start event (only)

Any ideas about why iwfreeze would generate a "system start" event or why trigger would otherwise execute on an iwfreeze?

Could you show us the regex you used to register the startup event trigger?

are you talking about the iwatserver command line trigger? If so, that gets triggered by Startup, Shutdown, Freeze, Thaw, DiskLow and DiskFail.
