Building brand new TS server ( Linux RHEL 6.5 ) TS 7.4.1 and Oracle DB. iwmnt issue

During the install, I clearly mentioned /iwmnt for the mount point. However this is what has happened.

df -h | grep iwmnt
/dev/mapper/Sever-iwmnt
                      296G 191M 281G   1% /iwmnt
none                   12M 9.4M 1.7M 85% /iwmnt/default
none                   12M 9.4M 1.7M 85% /iwmnt/iwadmin

Therefore TS Start now complains of no space. Why did it not take /iwmnt. I probably should have browsed the path instead of typing it in the installer. Anyway to change? Or is it re-install thing now? Please advise.

You should not have a disk mounted on /iwmnt. Remove that from fstab.

Also your main storage (iwstore) is on the small partition. Is that really a 12 MB partition? You should move it to hte large disk (not called /iwmnt) and then change the /etc/defaultiwstore to pint to the new location. Be certain to keep the permissions set.

As to 7.5, there is an open thread on it and it is challenging. I would get 7.4.1 working and then move to it if you feel comfortable about it.

I take it that remove whatever line is in /etc/defaultiwstore and replace it with new path, essentially /iwmnt & dont change defaultiwstore file permissions.

You have 2 mounts on the same point /iwmnt

Teamsite is mounting the iwstore and someone mounted a disk on the same place.

That is VERY BAD

Have your sys admin rename the /iwmnt mount in /etc/fstab to something else (/local for example)

Copy the files from the original location to /local/iwstore (or whatever you name it) and then update /etc/defaultiwstore.
