anchor links to all dcrs and show in the same tpl
njmahesh
I have req for making a tpl like listing one of the content item as an anchor link and when clicking on the link I have to show the details for that dcr on the same page.
Each dcr has one person detail.
It is some thing like this :
Person 1
Person 2
Person 3
Person1
Name : xxxxxxxxxxx
degree : xxxxxxxxx
title : xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Person2
Name : xxxxxxxxxxx
degree : xxxxxxxxx
title : xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Person3
Name : xxxxxxxxxxx
degree : xxxxxxxxx
title : xxxxxxxxxxxxx
if any one of u alrady implemented or have suggestions, greatly appreciate it.
Mahesh

Do you mean that you want to combine the contents of several DCRs on one page?
Are Person1, Person2 and Person3 seperate DCRs?
Or are they all replicants/part of one DCR?
Cheers

Do you also use these details seperately? If you intend to put them all on one page then why not capture all the details in the one DCR?

Are you trying to get all this information to show up in a DCT - or a generated page?
To do it in a DCT you'd probably need to use cgi-callouts that extracted the information from the referenced DCR and presented it in a useful manner (or that invoked another instance of the Edit DCR CGI, presumably in a new window)
To do it in a generated page you can process multiple DCRs with a single PT - using the iw_load_dcr() call - and then you can format the information anyway you want. Chances are you'd want to load up the various bits of information from the various DCRs into Perl variables and then output them in some fancy method to achieve the desired effect (perhaps as pop-ups?)
Does that answer your question?
