Will the Opendeploy delete files from Production webserver.???

Hi Friends...

We had a deployment(open deploy) yesterday to production, if the deployment fails for any reason, will it delete files from production webserver???

You may want to rephrase your question

If you delete and file in TeamSite and deploy the deletion (with doDeletes turned on) it will remove the file from the production server.

If a deployment fails in the middle, it will back that deployment out (read the manual about transactional deployments)

I will put it this way..

Yesterdat we had a deployment where we are pushing some file changes to production, unfortunately the deployment failed.

And it seems some files got deleted from production webserver.

So is there any chance that a failed deployment deletes the files from production webserver....??

can i have the link for (manual about transaction deployments).
