Permission denied on custom callout

TeamSite 7.3.1

I am getting permission denied error when I execute the custom callout ipl files from DCTs, but it works well on the command line. I am missing the permission of the interwoven user? How do I resolve this issue? Any help would be much appreciated.

Is the IPL executable? By everyone?
Does it have the correct #! line at the top of it?

Thanks ghoti for the response. I got it working.

Everything was setup properly - everyone had permission and the perl path was correct (#!). The issue was because of the symlink to the perl. Somehow, the symlink seems to be not working to execute the perl.
