User Group Information

Hi,

Is there a way using MediaBin API to extract a logged in user's windows group name (not MediaBin group name: MBPAdmins, MBTaskAdmins or MBCanGetCheckout)?

We are using MediaBin 8.0.3.

Yes, the use case would be informative.

You are really talking about using the Windows API, not the MediaBin API. If you are coding directly against the MB API, you could make your own call into Windows to get that information.

MediaBin API does not, and will not, expose that type of information directly and would represent a signifiant security hole.
