Upgrading to TS7.3.1, does perl tpls still be used integrated with LDAP

we are planning to upgrade to TS7.3.1 and just wanted to get check if Perl TPLs can still be used on TS 7.3.1 integrated with LDAP.

Based on my understanding, we would be using LDAP to authenticate the user for logging into TS and once the user is logged in preview functionality needs an active sessionkey only and not the ldap credentials, right? please correct me if wrong. branch restrictions are controlled in the standard way.

Perl TPLs require OS users to be true. That means with LDAP, you have to have PAM installed as well or the users have to be in /etc/passwd with LDAP configured to validate the passwd.

If you can log in as a user, TPLs will work, if not, no.

To be a bit more explicit: If you can login to the TeamSite server via telnet with the same account you would use to login to the TeamSite UI - then TPLs will work.
