...java.lang.RuntimeException: No preview server found for application type: dotnet ... status: Deployment FAILED reason: URL file:/E:/Interwoven/ApplicationContainer/server/default/deploy/iw-preview.war/ deployment failed ...
Your original message appears to be telling you that LiveSite for .NET isn't properly installed or properly configured. However, given the original cause of the problem, it's likely that the whole sitepub app didn't redeploy properly. The fix is to reinstall the webapps from source, via this command, which MUST be run from within the Interwoven\TeamSite\install folder, and with a user with appropriate permissions. install_webapps.ipl -i -f content_center After that, you can resume running builds as usual.
install_webapps.ipl -i -f content_center
install_webapps.ipl -i -f -nojsp_precompile content_center
Does the -nojsp_precompile argument do anything special for the dotnet environment ?
That flag just speeds up the build at a cost of slowing down the first call to any given page. I'd think you can safely assume that's not the issue. The install_webapps.ipl script does a complete rebuild of the apps in the ApplicationContainer, which is useful when a build fails halfway through and you're left with missing files all over the place. However, if the source of those apps is broken, you'll likely end up with the same result.I haven't done much with LS for .NET, and judging by the crickets in this thread, you might have to go back to Autonomy for a solution. Please post it back here if they come up with anything.
