Asset's Keywords Metadata not importing to MediaBin

Hi ,

Uploaded .eps file to Mediabin using UI ,assets have both keyword and metadata ,file uploaded but keyword missing. .

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Sharvan ,

i have attached .eps file with this thread. not only this eps file including PNG file also keywords missing.

but whenever upload .tiff file that time i can the "keywords" value.

is i need to enable anything on backend using MB enterprise or MB client?

It seems to vector eps file. Even keywords not generating in my test server.

better to contact vendor support.

yes , its Vector EPS only .I used Adobe bridge CC software to see , add and edit the keywords .

i added new keywords to .tif file then uploaded to MediaBin over there i can see the keywords.

issue on .eps and .png file

The issue is replicable with .eps and .png formats. I tried xmpmapping.xml file to get a workaround and seems because of the Keywords GUID, xmpmapping is working.

Working with Engineering team on the Support case raised.

Support for Keywords in PNG is not supported and would be an enhancement request. Keyword support for EPS files has been corrected and a fix is available.
