How Notify Reviewer works in review task ?

Hi ,

I am trying to send review notification and I am facing following hurdles :

1- Notify Reviewer Attribute of Reviewer Task- how it works ? I have set its value as yes ,after innitiating workflow it shows iwemail-ReviewTask completed but Reviewer never received a mail ,Does it requires calling java class also.

2-On which task i should use task.getOwner().getEmailAddress() .
