Hi,

Is there a restriction on the image size that would be uploaded from the local machine to the mediabin server via mediabin client? Is it specified in any of the mediabin mannuals?

Virage-MediaBin 7.0 Build 1 on Win

thanks

Once upon a time, I seem to recall having issues with video files 2GB or larger, in MB 4.6. That was before Virage though, which was built to handle video, so IF there is a limit, it must be much higher.. but given that they handle streaming video for TV production companies with it, I think you'll be ok. We are getting 404 error while uploading the 68 MB image file. This happens after 20 sec of the upload start.

Does anything relevant pop up in your MBP.log? 68MB is certainly nowhere near the size that should be causing problems.

Also, 404 is the last error code I'd expect. 502/503 makes much more sense for this scenario if it was actually an HTTP problem. The fact that you get a 404 means that the UI is trying to send you to some place that doesn't exist.. perhaps some error page that would normally describe the problem. Use firebug's NET tab (or similar) to track where the requests are going, and compare working vs. broken scenarios for differences.
