when I am clicking any image link (path provided is the pages inside sites).
Its showing some HTTP Error 404.3 - Not Found

Well, not only must your generated href be wrong, but the fact that you're getting an HTTP404.3 means that your href is SO wrong, it's sending you outside of LiveSite, to a path that IIS isn't set up to forward (or to send to the right docroot). You should review your component code and output to make sure it's doing what it's supposed to.
