LSCS not coming up

I have setup LSCS on Windows. TeamSite version is 7.3.2

Have verified that configurations are proper as per Installation guide.
But, when I hit following url to check whether LSCS is up or not, it shows following error.
Unable to identify root cause. Request help in this regard.

 

URL: http://<server name>:8080/lscs/v1/admin/status

 

Error:

javax.servlet.ServletException: Servlet.init() for servlet lscs threw exception

You must be on Windows 2008/2012. Sometimes the permissions aren't right for the installer todo its thing and it doesn't warn you at all.

 

At the root of LiveSiteCSAuth, you'll find a vcredist32.exe or similar. Run that 'as administrator', then bounce LSCS services. Should be fine after that.
