WFM Launching issue

Hi Everyone,

I have installed modeler version 721 and 1.0.11 for TS 672 on Linux on my windows 7 pc. I am using jdk/JRE 1.5

I can't launch the modeler and it is throwing the below error. I have attached the error log. Is this because of OS compatiblity? Please advise.

This has more to do with your desktop, than it does the WFM. It was unable to create the GUI because something went sideways with your ATI graphics card drivers.

So.. shooting in the dark here, but try using a recent JDK6 and/or update your ATI drivers.

I have updated the ATI graphics driver and JAVA, but it doesn't help. What could be other problems windows 7?

Don't know what to tell you. I still don't think this is a WFM issue. I have the 7.x version of WFM running just fine on Win7, and I don't believe the GUI implementation is any different from yours. Try running any other Java AWT-based thick app on your system (e.g. Eclipse IDE) and see if the problem is with WFM specifically. If it's not iwov-specific, you'll have better luck posting your question on more general-purpose Java forums.

I will second that, I used WFM Win client exclusively on my Windows 7 Laptop. No issues like that at all. I assume you have tried to reinstall the app ? Can you try it on a different machine ?
