Disable tinymce in Textarea Datum

Is there a way to disable tinymce in textarea datum? I just want to have a normal textarea in the component.

Many people use a DCR to edit and then specify no external editor. You can turn on in-context editing to make it easier.

In other words (if you're still wondering), no there is no way to have a plain textarea in SitePub, so if you need one, you need to use workarounds like the one nipper suggested.
