localization of the site

I am having an issues when trying to localize a site. The resources that are associated with Default.site  (.js,.css) even though I have marked as not localizable , when the locale site gets created , it creates the whole path with new set of files for those one and also on the new site its pointing to that path of those resources

de/resources/script/test.js.

 

any idea when I can turn that off. I just want the new locale site to always have the original path and to the resources and not recrete new ones for each language

If your static assets had an EA of G11N/Localizable=false before you localized your site, then it shouldn't have made localized copies of those. At least, that's how it works for me. But it's kind of annoying that you can't just mark a whole folder structure as localizable=false. We've had to build a piece such that this flag gets set when an asset is imported into the workarea.
