Using livesite_customer_src toolkit for iw-preview

We need some help to understand the current build process for livesite_customer_src toolkit.

The intent for doing this is that we need to define spring bean ids which need to be called from a component external when we preview a page.

Therefore, we have been trying to identify the correct resource configuration file for this. Also, if this is possible using livesite_customer_src toolkit, we need to identify the folder structure within it that would hold the said resource configuration.

Any suggestions are welcome.

There are 4 bean config files in various places under livesite_customer_src:

customer-teamsite-resource-config.xml : used for beans used exclusively in iw-cc.war (workflow, TinyMCE, etc.)
customer-resource-config.xml : beans used by your components or anything having to do with rendering pages. These apply to both iw-preview and the (real) runtime.
customer-runtime-resource-config.xml : same as previous, except doesn't apply to iw-preview
customer-preview-resource-config.xml : the opposite of previous, applies only to iw-preview and not the runtime.

** In some versions of TeamSite, the ANT build doesn't actually put the 'preview' one at the right place, so the build requires a manual tweak if you want/need to use that one.

Thanks Rick. This issue is exactly why we started investigating the "right" file. The build was dropping the customer-preview-resource-config.xml one level above the reference location.

That being said, customer-runtime-resource-config.xml should be the right file to go with in case of a configuration that is sought at preview and during runtime.
