Does higher branch access level grant access to sub barnches also ?

TS721, WS8

Branch hierarchy is as follows
default/main/rbc/finance/workarea/jamaica
default/main/rbc/finance/mutualfunds/workarea/jamaica

If workflow is granted access to default/main/rbc/finance branch, does it grant access to default/main/rbc/finance/mutualfunds ? (I guess not, but want to make sure) OR do I need to grant access to each branch individually ?

You should read the WFM guide - search for "branch-vpath" and "vpath-regex" - the answer is there.

You can look into regex use in available_templates.cfg, or manually add the entries as to which workflow are allowed in which branch.

Note also - you should check the directives allowed in the configuration file - for available_models.xml I believe the directives you are looking for is one of:

<branch-vpath vpath="..." include-subbranches="..."/>
<vpath-regex regex="..."/>
