Well that's a new one. Have you customized the PLC at all? This shouldn't happen unless you're doing something weird with the jobvars and/or attached files.

(The error message is saying a vpath resolved to a branch when it was expecting it to resolve to a file)

So what happened was that the content contributor or owner decided to delete the site and recreate it, renaming the same. We have 3 sites residing in the same workarea and branch which use the same components and templates, DCT. A check I did was that when I select default.site for that site --> Actions ---> find related files. The pop up shows that no related files. In short the dependencies were lost I did run iw_migrate_dependencies.ipl but doesn't seem to work. Is there any other way to specify/recover dependencies.

Kinda.. you can revert to a previous version of the asset(s) you're submitting, but obviously that means you lose any new content edits. The alternative is to build a Java class that reads values from the previous version and sets them on the current one. Could be done as a workflow task, or as a standalone CSSDK-backed servlet.

I fixed this for you, Aakarsh.
You just had to reverse back to a version of default.site that had the dependencies present.
