adding a meta tag

(This maybe a LiveSite question but...)

Please tell me there is an easy way that I can add:

<meta name="viewport" content="initial-scale=1.0"/>

to every page on the site easily? (.page)

I have a way that I can add it on a page/page/page/page... basis, but I'm hoping I can do it in one place.

In our environment - that's way easier to say than it is to do. I was hoping the answer was something like - oh yea - easy, add the tag to the ..... config file and it will appear on all pages.

a Simple change to the fixed-layout config or something would have been helpful.

We ended up modifying every page.

Our next "java install" will include an option to grab configs like this from the default site parameters.

You can simply add following entry in to page configuration files.
on Livesite server, the configuration files are located at /Interwoven/LiveSiteDisplayServices/runtime/web/WEB-INF/classes/com/interwoven/xsl/runtime (you will need select and update the .xml file as per your page configuration )

Code need to add
[PHP]

viewport
initial-scale=1.0

[/PHP]

Do we need restart tomcat after making this changes?

We are not getting changes which made second time. It's doing caching for page.

Is there any setting to reset/delete cache for one time at Tomcat level.

Yes, you must restart tomcat to apply XSL changes.

There's a URL for clearing the *component and page* cache at the following, but this won't help you clear cached XSL and configuration -- that's only done by cycling the container.

Make a JS that print out the viewport tag and put it in the default.site

(Of course later I saw this was a year old post that someone had replied to)
