Ie11

I've been told in no uncertain terms that the company is pushing out IE11 later this year, whether we like it or not. I realize TS is not supported in any version of IE above 9. We're going straight from IE8 to IE11. Brilliant. So they;ve set up test VMs for those of use who need to test our applications in IE11 to see if there are any issues. So far everything I've tried is working except for one little thing - when I attempt to edit a DCR, nothing happens. I can edit other filetypes, but not a DCR. I do not have pop-ups turned off. I can take the URL the Edit button maps to for a DCR and paste it into a separate IE11 browser session and it brings up the form in edit mode just fine.

We are using https for all links. Any ideas?

All DCRs or any with TinyMCE ?

Do you have the patch installed for the MS security issue ? What version of TS ?

I use IE11 pretty successfully with 731 and later. Is FF an option ?

All DCRs. I have no patches installed for the MS Security issue. We're running 7.3.2 on Linux. FF is an option, but the "official" browser for the company is IE. Users have to download FF and not everyone has admin rights (I don't think).

So this means the popup window doesn't open? Leads me to believe that the problem is with the JS that dispatches the window.open() call, rather than anything in formspub proper. Do any JS exceptions appear in the IE Dev Tools console?

I confirmed the same thing on 741, right click and open in new tab works fine, but the edit button and edit menu do nothing. No JS errors that I can see.

Any updates on this? We are also jumping from IE8 to IE11 soon.

We will be on TS 7.4.1 when we jump to IE11.

I'm running Windows 2008 and TS 7.4.1 and cannot directly edit DCRs (need to ctrl + click or right click and open in new tab). When I open up Developer Tools I see I'm getting an "Invalid calling object" error from sarissa.js:

SCRIPT65535: Invalid calling object
File: sarissa.js, Line: 155, Column: 13

I have no idea what sarissa.js is/does, but I'm mainly using FF so this isn't really a big deal for me.

Our very new installation of 7.4.1 (I don't know what patches have / haven't been applied) that is in a testing mode before we migrate from 7.2.1 DOES successfully open DCRs for editing in IE-11. I successfully opened one of our most complicated DCRs - no issues.

I'm using IE11 (32 bit i think) v 11.0.9600.17207 update versions 11.0.10
