LSCS setContextString()

7.4.1: On authoring, what am I supposed to pass to setContextString() to query content indexed from the workarea?

I can see from the search logs that it's indexing the workarea, but I can't find any documentation on what to pass to setContextString()? The LSCS Java docs really need some attention and EXAMPLES.

I've tried setting it to //server/default/main/branch/WORKAREA/workareaname, however, it only seems to query what has been submitted to STAGING.

You probably didn't apply the TSSearch/LSCSAuth patch, found in the 7.4.0 downloads folder. The vanilla install has a bug whereby it can't index workareas.

Thanks. I just opened a support case to ask that question. Since this is 7.4.1, I would have thought the patch was already applied.

Based on my previous comment, does it look like I am setting setContextString() correctly? I can't find it documented anywhere.

Yep. But if you doubt your implementation code, you can just tack it on at the end of your lscs query via &context=//server/default/main/blah/WORKAREA/something
