OnItemChange on Pressing Tab keyboard

I have a question

we have a text box where we using the on item change event but now what the client wants is that when we past the data in the field and press tab, the onitem change should trigger but that is also happening now but my question was is there any way i can trigger the onitem change event even if the data in the text box remains the same using the tab key button on the key board.

No - that's why it's called onItemChange.
You might be able to do something hokey using raw javascript code - but you're on your own there.
