Installing TeamSite with iw-home on NAS

Hello TeamSite experts,

I am sure this may have been discussed in the past, but not getting sufficient info on support or Devnet.

I know it is not recommended by Autonomy to install iw-home on a local drive instead of NAS Drive. They dont even say that you should not. Smiley Wink

What is the general practice in other companies? Just install iw-store on NAS or its ok for iw-home as well. Are there limitations?

I pretty much always use local disk for iw-home.

NAS is much faster than it used to be, but does not meet local disk speeds.

When processes swap (doesn't happen as often as it used to, but still can happen), there is a code portion and a data portion. The data portion is swapped to disk, but the code portion is dumped and reread from the original location. If that is a NAS device the reload takes longer.
