Customizing header in Teamsite UI

I am using TS 7.3.2 version and i am trying to add a new icon in the Teamsite UI in the Header section just before "Go to" but in UI customization guide i didn't see any info about this, all other areas i.e grids,colums,style etc are customizable so i wanted to check if it is possible or not? Thanks.

I'm not sure of a supported way to do this, so perhaps wait for another answer first, but an unsupported way would be this:

 

1. Take a copy of \Interwoven\ApplicationContainer\server\default\deploy\iw-cc.war\ccpro\common\navbar.inl
2. Copy it to \Interwoven\TeamSite\local\config\lib\content_center\customer_src\web\ccpro\common\navbar.inl
3. Update the HTML copy to whatever you want.
4. Run \Interwoven\TeamSite\local\config\lib\content_center\customer_src\make_toolkit.ipl

 

NOTE: The above would change the CCPro interface, if you want ccstd etc. you should do the same for the relevant folders.

 

To revert the change:

 

1. Delete \Interwoven\TeamSite\local\config\lib\content_center\customer_src\web\ccpro\common\navbar.inl
2. Run \Interwoven\TeamSite\local\config\lib\content_center\customer_src\make_toolkit.ipl

 

NOTE: Because this is unsupported, any TeamSite patches could require you to reimplement this change using the relevant updated file(s). Be wary.
