Segmentation issue - patch available

Sometimes I wonder how many organizations use some features of TS/LS. This time it's Segmentation.

We setup a new segment for a redesign of the site's IA. We are moving stuff around, adding whole new sections and removing some others. For testing we created a new Segment that our testers can trigger by going to a specific page. If that page is the first page they visit in a session they get the new IA. Works great.

Here's the challenge - if you add a new alias to a page in the non-primary segment you will receive an error from LiveSite that the page does not exist. After some very detailed testing I opened a ticket and gave them "the smoking gun" on what the issue was. They confirmed that it was a bug - IS NO ONE ELSE USING THIS? They created a patch that I hope to test out this week.

..at least they've built you a patch. I've seen bugs, namely [thread=38196]this one[/thread], which affects a whole bunch of clients out there and whose existence has been acknowledged by support, and yet they don't want to fix it.

In case someone looking for this patching, refer to LST-10994 for HP support. This patching fix our URL Alias issue. Based on the support, it should fixed in the version 8.1
