Is this possible to get a list of inactive TS users?

One of our business requirements is to make a list of inactive TS users. Only those users who are inactive for over 9 months. Is this even possible? Please share some directions if anyone has any thoughts.

OS: Solaris
TS: 6.5

You may take a look at the collection of files in iwhome/local/entities/Data Directory. There is a file there
per user. User's File is updated upon certain User activities, Login including. File's timestamp *may* help you
to find last time somebody was active.

You would have to read/parse files to identify what user they belong to or alternatively, get User number mapping
from iwhome/local/entities/Index File.

Needless to say, this is neither documented nor supported.

There was a command added in either 6.5.2 or 6.7 called iwrecentusers

If that is available you can try that. It will provide the last time each person has accessed the system. Compare that to the list of users.

"iwrecentusers" displays a list of everyone who has used TeamSite since the last time the TeamSite server was started.

Thanks Boris and Nipper for your reply. I will look into those options. There is also an iwauthen.log file that has the entire list of username from the beginning.

You can also use the UNIX 'finger' command on a user which will give you Last login time of that user.
You can execute this command via script for all the users in one shot.

The question was about inactive TS users, not inactive OS Users.

Somebody with the current "fingered" login may not even have TS Account.
Conversely, in modern corporate Environments most TS users won't have local TS Server Account anyway.
