migrating store to another server using iwmigrate

Hello !

We are in process to migrate the few branches from Store A to Store B on the same server using iwmigrate command to preserve the submit history.

Now after that we want to move the Store B to Store C which is on another server having same TS version and service packs.

So do I need to run the iwmigrate over there again after copying the store on another server ? or no need to run it on target as the TS version and all are same.


Environment Details :
Both boxes are - TeamSite 6.5.0 Service Pack 2

After you run iwmigrate, remember to run iwfsshrink on the target store (search forums, Kbs, and manuals for more information on iwfsshrink)

What you don't mention is the OS and the way that accounts are managed.

In general, no - if you are moving the complete store (e.g.: the '****' in '/iw-store/****') between servers running the same product version - you should not need to run iwmigrate [again].

You may have to run iwidmap though (again, search forums, KB articles, and manuals for more information).
