Configuring External SMTP for sending Emails

Hi All,

We need to configure external SMTP server which needs authentication. We checked TS Admin guide and dont see any configuration where I can specify the SMTP credentials. Can you please help how can we configure the external SMTP for TeamSite.

We are on TeamSite 7.3.2

The OOTB email tasks don't handle SMTP authentication. Typically, the easiest path is to convince your network admins to just whitelist your teamsite servers. The alternative is writing custom email tasks that DO handle authentication, which is doable but requires much more effort.
