Restricting branch or workarea deletions

We have a bunch of administrators working on the environment for doing all kinds of administration stuff (adding users, configuring workflows, etc etc).

Due to thier role and activities, I need to give them MASTER role on the environment. Due to this, there is a possibility that these users can delete branches or workareas unintentionally.

If I remove master role from my admins, they loose admin tab and cannot do day to day admin work.

Is there any way I can restrict my admin users (currently masters) from deleting anything and still be able to do all activities as teasmite admin (creation, edit, update etc).

You need to read up on the creation of custom roles.

For one thing - if your "admins" have the ability to manage users or groups - then can go through the CCPro Actions menu to perform those activities even if they don't have access to the Admin UI.

My intention is to restrict admins donot have access to delete any stuff (for e.g. branches, workareas or groups).

I want to take off Master role from them and give a custom role which doesnot have any kind of deletions. But the problem is them not having access to adminstration tab. Observed that "Manager Users" is missing for NON-Masters under Action menu and I am not sure what else comes later on.

So, is there any way I can provide a custom master role for them.

Is there any other trick/solution.

It might help if you indicate the version of TeamSite you are using - but for the purposes of re-stating what I already suggested: in 7.4 you should read (carefully, fully) the sections of the TeamSite User Interface Administration Guide entitled "Configure Roles" and "Create a New Role" - starting at the bottom of page 33 through at least the middle of page 40 if not the bottom of page 43.

If you're using a different version of TeamSite, the manual name, section names, and/or pages may differ - unless you're using a very old and unsupported version of TeamSite that came out before the introduction of "Flex Roles".
