Deploy the .pages

Hi ,
1) Where should I deploy the .pages and recourses (js/css/images to the Live Site Run time Server?

Note:-
As per the manual , we should deploy to /…./LiveSiteDisplayServices/runtime/web/sites/
and my wf is deploying the files to the exact location ...am I correct?

2) Where should I configure the web configure (tomcat5 or tomcat ) file so that ,
when the user type the site url name , it should point to the index .page

Note :- regular .html pages , we will deploy the files and resources to the web
server ( www_root ) folder and the default index page is defined in the web server
config files (httpd.conf)

the root of all workareas must map to LSDS/runtime/web. I.e. (if using the PLC) your OpenDeployWebRoot should end with /web in opendeploy.properties.

LiveSite already tries to render your site's start page, as determined by the default.site file for the LiveSite site. Just make sure you have that configured right.

LiveSite couldn't care less about your web server's default index pages. The only thing you could do in the httpd.conf is
RewriteRule / /MySite/index.page
