Teamsite 7.4.1 silent installation issue

Hi Guys,

 

    we are having the linux backend. and we are trying to install teamsite 7.4.1 through the silent installation. in this we got struct. we are getting the following errors

 

com.interwoven.wcm.teamsite.install.tasks.sitepub.InstallSitePubComponents - Process stderr: ERROR:5000013: Error connecting to server:
Couldn't create branch /default/main/component-guide at /apps/Interwoven/TeamSite/install/install_archive.ipl line 287.

 

com.interwoven.wcm.service.iwovregistry.utils.IRConnectionUtil - ERROR connecting to IR Service
com.interwoven.wcm.service.iwovregistry.common.ConfigException: IO Exception during request/response transport

 

and the installation got dropped.  can you guys please advise.

The silent installer is quite finicky.  Problems typically happen well before you notice them. 

 

All this tells me is that JBOSS did not start up when it was supposed to start up.  During the install, it is brought downand restarted several times. 

 

Start digging through the log and see if you can find some root cause issues.  The log is quite large and if you post a 100K line log, it is doubtful anyone will look at it.

Finally, from my experience, issues like  this are typically because of missing shared libraries.  You can also start executing some of the TS commands like: iwgetlocation, iwgethome and iwversion and see if they complain or if they work
