Not able to connect to TeamSite

Our Teamsite server 7.2.1 was running and functioning correctly. We tried to install the patch 1 and followed the steps. After the installation of the patch we are not able to bring the GUI up and we see the following error in the server.log

when you installed the patch did you do it as root/Admininstator.Check the Permissions on the folders beneath /Interwoven/ApplicationContainer/server/default/deploy/ for the folders that are throwing error in the jboss.log.I had a similar issue,i changed the permissions on them and it fixed the issue in my case by the way I am on 7.3

Also what was your umask when you installed ?

I have a customer that uses a very restrictive umask (0027) which makes the UI inoperative because iwui does not get access to many files it needs.

In our case it is running on windows and I don't think it is permissions

I remember that the Patch1 installation instructions (the readme in the download zip) is a bit of a mess, and you do need to "correct" the instructions here and there. An experienced admin can usually spot the errors in the readme, assuming s/he's awake.

(e.g. some files are copied to ApplicationContainer folder, where they are overwritten by any form of install_webapps etc. Others files are put in wrong folder. I would also recommend you to clean the jboss work folder at such an upgrade, etc, etc.)

The patch update documents are a joke. Copy file here, delete file there, etc... Interwoven really should have done a better job of packaging these updates into executables or a more polish way to apply the patches...

Interwoven has a patch installer that supports installation & rollback. What was the reason to go thru patch document? Are you referring to QSU?
