How to Disable a node in sitemap without deleting it.

I am using Sitepublisher/ livesite 7.3.1. My question is how I can disable a node in sitemap so that it does not get displayed in the site. In the past I saw that I had to delete the node from the sitemap for that site to achieve this, but in my current scenario, I do not want to delete the node as this node has several child node. those child node are displayed in other pages.

I have tried by disabling "Visible in production site map" and "Visible in breadcrumb" for that node and published the sitemap, but that does not resolve the problem, still the node it getting displayed in my pages sitemap.

If anyone have seen this and have any solution for it, please help me.

What do you mean by "not display on site" ?

Do you expect that the URL for this image would return a 404 ?

The visible in sitemap is basically an attribute in the XML. You are free to ignore it if you want.
