User OR Group appears twice on UI

I am adding a user and group to a branch using Configuration option in TS UI. After adding, User and Group appears twice in UI in two lines.

I have assigned Editor role to a user named Biswas, it appears as follows in UI. For Group, role is not getting repeated. Admin_Group is a group added to TS and appears as below

1) Why role for user is getting repeated in one line ?

2) Why are users and groups when added to branch appearing twice ?

3) Branch_Group is appearing in blue color, while Adnmin_Group is appearing in black color. What does this indicate ?

A number of factors

If you have inherit roles turned on and add again, you will duplicate.

If you are part of a group that has permissions and add more, then you will duplicate.

You can also inherit groups, which add more

I still have following question.

Branch_Group is appearing in blue color, while Adnmin_Group is appearing in black color. What does this indicate ?

The one in blue must be a TS group, so you can click on it to see its members.

The one in black must be an external group, so TS can't tell you who the members are.

I can click on this group and see members.

I noticed one more thing. Group is kind of greyish black (darker than this text), while users are blue (easily identifiable). I can click on these users and see details of them. There is one user which is completely black (Like text of this post) and I can not click on this user. So are TS users and groups displayed in different colours ?

When you say external group, does it mean its OS group, which does not exist in TS ? Does it mean that once OS users are added to TeamSite, then OS groups which are not in TS, but contain TS users, can be added to TS ?

When I check users from "Manage Users" link in CCPro, I see all users are OS users and none id TeamSite user. Once a user is added to TS , does he not become a TeamSite user ? Shall his database not be displayed as TeamSite user

A registered TeamSite user link appears in blue and you can click on it to get more information.

An OS and/or LDAP user that is not registered in TeamSite probably shouldn't appear, but if it does, it would not be clickable.

An inherited access for a user cannot be removed from the inheriting branch, except if inheritance as a whole is removed for that branch.

A TeamSite Group (one created within TeamSite) should appear in blue and should be able to be clicked on to show the constituent members (users and nested groups)

An OS group would not be blue, not clickable, as it cannot be managed within TeamSite.

TeamSite groups can be nested deeply.

OS groups often don't work past the first level of nesting (if that)

Non-registered users in OS groups that are used within TeamSite may cause issues with workflows - if the workflow uses that OS group for a Group Task - as there will be members of the group who are not allowed to perform actions on the task.
