TS 7.4.1 on W2K12?

Has anyone successfully installed TeamSite 7.4.1 on Windows 2012?

I ask because I've been trying to do so for the better part of a week now with very little success.

- not other versions of TS nor other versions of Windows or any other OS) or if anyone else has tried and has run into the same kind of problems.In working with TeamSite for 10+ years, this is probably the worst experience I've had trying to do an installation.

I suspect it is something with 2012, I did a virgin install on 2008 R2 with 741 and no problems at all.

Well - we're punting on W2K12 - and rebuilding the servers with W2K8R2. Will see if this goes any smoother (I don't see how it can go worse - I've already spent a week on trying to get it to work on W2K12)

7.4.1 on W2K8R2 seems to install a lot better.
I still have some issues with the installation of the "TeamSite UI" and WFM - but I recall having these issues with other versions of TeamSite too.

So my advice - if you can avoid using W2K12 for TS 7.4.1 - do so - at least until some patches come out (though I'd rather wait for TS 8.x...)

With that, I'm closing the thread because it not longer has anything to do with W2K12.
