Picture Properties - Select New File
slong
Does anyone know where can we find the code for the Select New File browse button in the Picture Properties popup box? This is when clicking on the image icon in the Visual Format Editor.
We are trying to write some custom code for a popup window. We'd like to have a browser button to browser to images in the workarea, like when a user clicks on the Picture button and then clicks the Select New file. Does anyone know of code to create that browser button?
Thanks!

So would you want to put the button in the visual format editor toolbar? because in the documentation for that I am pretty sure you can get buttons to call custom script code.

What we're hoping to do is create a popup like the picture properties popup, only for rollover images with URLs. We're currently stuck on the browse to get the image button. We haven't been able to get it to browse the TeamSite workarea, instead it goes to the local host and displays all drives.

If anyone has any ideas on how to do this, I would really appreciate your help. Thanks!

We're having the same issue here... Does anyone have a solution?
Issue: From Visual Formatter, user selects "Insert Picture". This launches the Picture Properties window. User selects "Select New File" button. Ideally, the "Select New File" button should launch a browser window allowing the user to browse their workarea for an image file.
Currently, I'm getting either an HTTP 500 error, or it opens a browse window local to the user's workstation. The result depends on the Transport/type attribute. I've tried the default htm file, and combination of FTP/FILE values for the type attribute. Nothing's worked so far. Is there an out of box .html file that would launch a browse window?
I've also tried using the manual's example "imageselect.htm". It just doesn't suffice as a browse function.
-we launch our Visual Format from a callout button on the DCT.
thanks in advance
