How to access Extended Attribute in XSL Presentation Template

Hi,

I am trying to create a presentation Template in XSL. I need to access the extended attributes associated with the DCRs .
Can anyone help me what would be the way to access the EA values.

Example: How can I access the below EA in the XSLT based Presentation template.

TeamSite/Metadata/Locale

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Not very easy, XSL is a markup language and not a scripting language, so you cannot execute commands.

Two choices, write some Java to read it in the XSL, or change your template to save that EA inside the DCR.

Choice #3, if you're going to be doing this as a rule rather than a one-off, you can write a custom CSPTCompiler that would merge the DCR XML with an XML representation of the EAs on the file, before feeding it to the XSL.

If you are looking for processing EAs in your component, write an external which includes the required values in your result content XML and then process using XSL.
