Unable to Access Teamsite User Interface

Hi,

I am getting the below error while accessing Teamsite URL:

The Interwoven Web Daemon was unable to contact the Interwoven Servlet Engine. The Interwoven Servlet Engine may be down, or running on an unexpected host or port.

Please contact your system administrator.

I have also attached a screenshot of the error.

Need to get an admin to look at the logs.

TS uses JBOSS and cannot connect to JBOSS

The admin needs to look at:

ApplicationContainer/server/default/log/iwjboss.log

We have run out of support from HP. We will have to fix this on our own. Is there any way you can help me, I will send you the logs if needed?

I was unable to find iwjboss.log on my server

i did had a look at my iwtrace.log and found the below:

What version of TeamSite are you using? Probably is 6.7 something, which has been EOL for a while

There may be a servletd_out.log

Most likely the event subsystem is using JMS as the DB. That was never recommended. The DB gets too big and crashes

look for TeamSite/enventsubsystem

There may be some very large files there. You can back them up and remove them (openjms.*) and restart with your fingers crossed.

Otherwise you are pretty much screwed

I navigated to /Teamsite/eventsubsystem/openjmsdb/seg0 folder and find the below files which are big:

I am not sure what this files are about. Is it fine remove those files and restart?

I would stop TS, copy them elsewhere and restart. You are pretty much in deep s**t, if you cannot call support. This is from memory of issues I ran into about 8 years ago. But not having specific access to the server and ablility to debug it is the best guess.

Find someone who knows enough to get on site and help. That version has been EOL for a number of years so support is out of the question.

Otherwise try to reinstall it or upgrade it.
