LDAP Connectivity

Dear all,

Hi everyone we have just installed teamsite 7.4.2 on windows 2012,

We need to fetch user thru LDAP, added the ldap setting in user_databases.xml, still we are not able to enable LDAP browser on ui.

Please check the attached xml & log files

any solution

Just comparing yours to mine, you should try removing the parens from your dnBase. But aside from that, you'll have to find an error message of some kind for anyone to be able to help.

Something's weird in your config there.. You're using sAMAccountName as the identifier, which implies you're connecting to Active Directory, but you're using (probably) an incorrect port and your connecting user isn't correctly specified for AD.

Also, check your iwtrace.log for potential errors in connecting to LDAP. You should at least see a line saying "User database enabled".

Hi guys,

now i got a solution. I just commented the <attr_sync> line now Ldap is working fine. the reason is the attr_sync name we had given is to be there in the Ldap Account and the users must have mentioned any of the value given. In my case the LDAP user didn’t have this. So I just commented the Tag. And I added a local user named iwguser and added that user into the iwglbal group. And restarted the iwservers. Now it’s working
