Copied DCR Publish attach the Parent DCR

Hi All,
I am creating a copy of Existing DCR using Save As. While Submit it through finish button I observed that Old DCR is also attaching along with copied DCR.
I dont want to attach Old DCR.
Is there anyway to detach the DCR during Form Publish itself.
I know how to detach it from UI.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Can't say I've ever noticed that, and it does seem strange.. but as far as excluding something marked as dependencies, you'll either have to create a custom task that's more selective about what dependencies it attaches, or you'll have to create a screen where you can modify the dependencies on a file. Either one works and requires some custom dev.

You need to figure out why the original DCR is being attached. It could very easily be due to some metadata that is associated with the DCR that remains in-place when you did the Save As to a different name (this is one of the various reasons I tend to disable Save As in most of the implementations I've done).

Once you've determined the reason - then we can perhaps help you figure out a resolution.

If there is any metadata associated with it then it should attach the parent DCR everytime. But it is not the case. I guess that Save As operation is happening on the same window. That is why it is attaching the parent DCR.
If I close the form post save as and open a copied dcr and publish then it is not attaching parent dcr.
