Does TeamSite support Java8 Plugin?

Hi,

Does Interwoven Teamsite support java8 plugin in browser to upload the images to Teamsite? Currently I am using java6 and I want to upgrade it to java8. Before upgrading to java8, I just want to know whether java8 plugin is supported by Teamsite.

Always include your current version of TS.

However, AFAIK, not even the most recent version of TS supports the 1.8 plugin.

Now that doesn't mean it will fail, just not tested with it.

I run unsupported Java 1.7.56 (or something similar) on 7.3.2 which is not supported and it works fine.

If you're saying you have a custom Java applet that you want to run in Java 1.8, then that has nothing to do with TeamSite really. The execution environment is on the client side, so that would work fine.

I am using TeamSite 7.3.2. I think you are right, any latest version does not support Java1.8 but we need to verify it. I will try it out and see. If any major functionalities gets effected then I will revert it back to Java1.6.
